Hello, I’m Drew.

I’m the founder of DFurt Media, where I help nonprofits and educational organizations tell their stories through photography, video, social media, and digital strategy. Since 2023, I’ve helped clients across the Southcoast reach more than 11 million people through creative campaigns and communications.

I grew up and still live in Massachusetts' South Coast. Too often, the headlines highlight poverty and crime, but rarely the incredible work happening in our communities. After years in television news, covering everything from the Boston Marathon bombing to local tragedies, I realized I wanted to create content that uplifted people, rather than focusing solely on what was broken.

My Why

That’s why I launched DFurt Media: to provide nonprofits and schools with access to the high-quality content and communication strategies typically reserved for large organizations. My work has been recognized with New England Emmy Awards, Associated Press Awards, and Film Festival Awards, but my greatest joy comes from helping local changemakers amplify their impact.

I’ve always been a cheerleader for the underdog, and I’m excited about the stories we’ll create together.
